Rev. Laurie McCarty is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and has served the body of Christ for over 25 years. Her passion is to help people find wholeness as they pursue their unique and personal relationship with God. In that passion is a love for God, prayer, and teaching the Word of God. Journaling has been a regular part of her devotional life for many years. Laurie is currently writing additional devotional material as well as developing a Christian life-coaching business.

In addition to her education and work in ministry, Rev. McCarty holds a B.S. in Business Administration and an M.B.A. She has had a business career in the fields of sales, human resources, and management consulting. She has also worked as an instructor at local colleges and universities.
